Requirements for Personal Pages (Important Message).

I will be creating a list of requirements for a person to receive a personal page on this wiki. So far I have three. For a person to receive a personal page they need to have one of these three requirements.

1. Must be a cube member.

2. Associate with the Cube frequently, personally knows the Cube members.

3. Must have competed in UHCs (minimum of 3 or more seasons).

I believe that we need to inform all contributors this because we cannot have random pages just floating around the wiki with no soul purpose, but to take up space. I want to create more pages for anyone who have competed in UHCs, but as of now. No. We need to set a limit before we crash and over do ourselves.

If you have any more suggestions, please feel free to comment down below.

just an opinion:

the thing about ppl who have never been in uhc or cube smp is what do ppl write as content? at least in joey's case ppl can still talk about his uhc experience but for peckett, noboom, jack and hyper? will their page just talk about their youtube careers and only a brief mention on how they are associated with cube members and not the cube itself?

but is up to the community to decide

personally i think rule 1 and 3 should be enough. 3 itself gives leeway to many former players that no longer associated with cube but significant enough to have their own page

Exactly, I'm questioning my own list. Damn, I should have thought of it better. I'll try to actually create a page with the possible YouTubers who can receive a page after school. Then we'll go from there. Creating pages like Stitch, and MagneticMC would be more work for us. I don't know. I'll definitely try to do something later on today, but definitely going to cancel out the 2nd requirement because it's a loophole many YouTubers can get through.

I really like the idea of the list, but I really don't know about people like noboom and peckett. They clearly are associated with the cube but are not part of the smp or UHC seasons. What about kinda like a 'sub page' for people who don't have enough information for a whole page? - like a mini page if you like.

OR alternatively we could come back to these pages later bearing in mind there are only a few of us to edit and some one us (cough cough me cough cough ;) ) haven't had much opportunity to edit recently :)

I think we shouldn't ignore people like noboom and peckett because they are part of the 'cube community', and are important to mention but i'm not sure how we could show that :/ any ideas?

I agree that there should be pages for them, but as you said Night it doesn't have to be as filled as much as a Cube Member. The way I see it, in no way should a personal page be centered around just what they've done on the Cube/UHC. The page is about the person, so I see it as a possibility to create pages for said people.

Okay, I think we are getting ahead of ourselves here. I love that we're finally acting up and doing a lot on this wiki, but to simply just add numerous pages out of nowhere considering that we really can't handle 60+ pages is enough as is. I think we should delay this idea as of now, until we can really function as a community.

Once we finish up all of the current pages than maybe we'll try to create more pages, but as of now, we should be only focusing on the main Cube Members, both past and current pages. After we complete these certain pages, we can contribute more pages by editing small amounts everyday. But our priority should be the Cube, not the Cube's friends or associates.

I will keep all of the pages that are created like Talekio, Shep, Fin, and a few others. Please, try to avoid creating new articles for YouTubers who do not know the Cube or are friends with them.

Only create a new article if the person is a Cube member or has participated in 3 or more seasons, but please avoid it at the time as we have plentiful of pages with random information floating around the wiki. I will still create the page with a list, as we finish up the pages, meaning it is fully completed with a navigation and links linked, than we can progess into a more full Cube Wiki.

Sorry for the essay...

Just to check back to avoid future problem:

Does echo and peckett deserve a personal page?

My opinion: Is true they are associated with the Cube quite heavily and we can expect them to participate in future seasons but I think we should stick to the 3 season rule before actually making a page for them. Just to standardize a fixed rule for all future participants in Season 13 and onwards and avoid any debate on "are they associate enough with the Cube or not". Im fine with Dylan and Rumble only becos is already out.

Thoughts on this?

Yup. Echo and Peckett will not receive a personal page.
